Where are you from and how do you like Serbia and studying in Serbia?
My name is Jad, I’m 21 years old, I’m from Lebanon. I came here on a scholarship called World in Serbia. Serbia is a good country, people are kind and friendly.
How do you like your studies at the Academy? What do you like the most?
After coming here, in the beginning, it was very hard and challenging, but in the end I got used to it, especially the weather. It is very cold here, it’s not like Morocco. Morocco is warmer so I had to adapt to that. I think the people here are very kind and very helpful, especially my professors.
Why did you choose the Academy of Technical Applied Studies?
Well, for this, I had [the option] to choose between many specialities, and the most interesting one here is Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development. So that’s why I chose this course.
How long are you going to stay in Serbia and Belgrade?
Same for me, to finish my bachelor’s, I’m going to stay here for three years. Maybe I will apply for a master’s, nobody knows. Actually, it’s good opportunity for us to study in Europe, far away from our countries.
