Where are you from and how do you like Serbia and studying in Serbia?
My name is Brahim, I’m 25 years old and I’m from Morocco. I’ve been studying here for two years now in Belgrade, [I’m studying] Polytechnic in Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development.
Can you tell us how you learned about the programme?
Well, in the beginning, I completed my studies in Morocco, earning a bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energies. Then, I applied for many scholarships and I got accepted from the Ministry of Education here [in Serbia]. They gave me the opportunity to come here and study, and I’m very thankful for this opportunity.
How hard was it to learn Serbian?
[Učim malo srpski] I learned a bit of Serbian. It’s very hard in the beginning to speak in Serbian, but after a while you start to learn it, and it’s completely different language from our language. I’m good at it now and I’m looking forward to learning more.
