Once again, we had the opportunity to represent the Study in Serbia initiative at the NAFSA 2026 Annual Conference & Expo, one of the largest higher education events in the US! Held in Orlando, Florida, from 26 to 28 May, the conference brought together thousands of higher education professionals, university representatives and international education organisations from across the globe.
This year’s conference theme, “Global by Design,” encouraged participants to explore how strategic planning, innovation, advocacy, and international cooperation can shape the future of global education.
We are glad that we got a chance to showcase Serbia’s higher education system and promoted study opportunities available to international students. Visitors to our booth had the opportunity to learn more about accredited study programmes offered in English, admission procedures, student life in Serbia, and the advantages of pursuing higher education in the country.
We were pleased to be joined by our colleagues from the University of Belgrade and the University of Niš, whose participation further enriched Serbia’s presence at the event.
We would like to thank everyone who visited the Study in Serbia booth and took the time to learn more about studying in Serbia. We look forward to continuing these conversations and developing new partnerships that will create opportunities for students, researchers, and institutions in the years ahead, as well as attending next year’s NAFSA conference in LA.
